The centerpiece of Alva Belmont Vanderbilt’s Beacon Towers in Sands Point was this Joan of Arc Statue
A guiding inspiration for Alva Vanderbilt Belmont, Willie K's mother, was Joan of Arc. This sculpture and surrounding murals depicting the life of the saint were the centerpiece of Beacon Towers in Sands Point.
